Presenting : the “Santa Claus Association”

Founded : in 1913 by John Duvall Gluck Jr. in association with the New York City Postmaster

Disbanded :  in 1928 due to questionable funding practices

Answered : more than 28,000 letters with gifts/toys in the first year of operation

My Inspiration : To celebrate the joy of giving and receiving that Holiday Season, I created this art story around a very real group of people, who set out to answer letters sent to Santa.
